Sofía Luis-Brown
Programming and Communications Director
Sofía Luis-Brown has served with Claremont Hillel since January 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Riverside.
A Claremont native, Sofía is deeply invested in fostering vibrant and inclusive Jewish life within the community she calls home. As Programming and Communications Director, she oversees organizational logistics, strategic communications, and program development, ensuring the successful execution of meaningful and impactful student experiences. In addition, Sofía directs the Claremont Hillel Internship Program, where she mentors and develops emerging Jewish student leaders through professional development, community engagement, and values-based leadership education.
Beyond her work at Claremont Hillel, Sofía serves on the Young Women’s Division of the Guardians Division of Los Angeles Jewish Health, where she supports fundraising efforts that benefit senior citizens.
